That is how long a treatment with us takes on average. With Invisalign©, minor misalignments are often treated in as little as 7 months. More complex treatments usually take around 18 months. However long it takes, we make sure that your orthodontic treatment fits into your everyday life as easily as possible.
How fast is it really?
As a teenager, Thomas had already had treatment with traditional brackets at another dentist's. How did that differ from Invisalign at Eltz? And how did our patient Nina like it?
No speech impediments
For professional reasons, many of our patients cannot afford to be impaired by orthodontic treatment. Yet traditional orthodontics today still often uses techniques that lead to massive restrictions when speaking. One example is obstructive inner arches.
Because it uses state-of-the-art aligner technology and the gentle but highly effective forces that come with it, Invisalign© does without these elaborate anchorages. For this reason, speech problems are not an issue.
Does Invisalign get in the way at work?
Our patients Nina and Thomas are very committed to their careers. Meetings and conversations with patients or clients are an important part of their working days. They share their experiences.
No pain
People in particular who are in demanding phases of life, need to concentrate at work or want to get things done have no use for pain during orthodontic treatment. How do our patients experience Invisalign© treatment? We wanted to know too, so we asked them. The survey produced the following results:
- 33 per cent feel no pain
- 56 per cent report a slight pulling sensation
- 11 per cent felt an unpleasant pulling sensation
Not a single patient said that Invisalign had been fairly or very painful. Overall, 91% of all patients said that they found their orthodontic treatment with us pleasant most of the time or always!!!

Easy care
Dental hygiene is much easier with Invisalign© than with traditional braces. The reason is that Invisalign© aligners are removable. This means you can brush your teeth and use dental floss as usual. In addition, we give you care products for cleaning your Invisalign© aligners and special tools for looking after your teeth – for example after lunch.
How complicated is eating with Invisalign?
Among others, we ask our patient Thomas. He had conventional braces as a teenager, long before he came to us. He talks about the differences compared with treatment at Eltz.
Infrequent appointments
The less often you have to see the doctor, the better. That is why, based on our experience, we can organise your treatment so that you only have an appointment with us every 8–12 weeks. This means business trips are no problem. And neither are long holidays.

Easy to reach & long opening hours
Our institute is right in the centre of Vienna, close to Stephansplatz. This makes us easy to reach by many forms of public transport. There are also two car parks nearby.
Our patients also appreciate our long opening hours. We are open from Monday to Friday. There are appointments for early risers as well as in the evening.
