We don’t do a little orthodontics alongside lots of other dental services. We specialise in it.

More than 1,500 new treatments a year

Every year, more than 1,500 new orthodontic treatments start at Eltz. Our specialist orthodontists therefore deal every day with a wide variety of dental and jaw misalignments – from minor corrections to particularly complex cases.

This experience makes a difference. Because especially when a treatment does not go by the textbook, it helps to have already seen and treated many different situations.

Our doctors engage in scientific exchange with renowned university hospitals in the German-speaking world.

Our head physician Dr. Lutz Hodecker was a senior physician at Heidelberg University Hospital and is still active in research today. Together with university colleagues, he researches and publishes on new methods and technologies in orthodontics.

Among other honours, his scientific work has received an innovation award from the German Society of Orthodontics and the Dentistry 4.0 Research Prize of the University Clinic of Dentistry Vienna. This knowledge feeds directly into our day-to-day work.
