For the tooth movement to be effective, you should wear the aligners for 22 hours a day. You can easily take the aligners out to eat, drink and clean your teeth, but you should make sure that they stay in for the rest of the day and night. This is the only way to exert the constant pressure on the teeth that produces the desired movement.

A new aligner every 2 weeks: step by step to the perfect smile

Your teeth are moved in small steps. About every two weeks you switch to the next aligner in your series. It is designed to move your teeth a little further into the right position. However, you do not need to visit our institute every two weeks. As a rule, you receive several aligners for 10–14 weeks, and we then check your progress at regular intervals. This allows us to make sure that the tooth movement is going according to plan and to make targeted adjustments if necessary.
