Accessibility statement

We endeavour to make our websites accessible in accordance with the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz, WZG) as amended, which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of conformance level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08).

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

• Some PDF documents are not accessible.
• Keyboard navigation is only possible to a limited extent in some areas of the website.
• Subtitles are missing for embedded videos.

We are continuously working to identify and remove these barriers.

Disproportionate burden

Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform YouTube. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. As a result, WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description (Prerecorded)) is not met. Instead of audio descriptions, we plan to gradually provide text alternatives for time-based media.

This statement was prepared on 11 June 2025. The assessment of the website’s compliance with the requirements of the WZG is based on a self-assessment.
