How an initial consultation works

Every path to a perfect smile begins with a detailed initial consultation. The consultation usually lasts half an hour, during which a lot gets done. First of all, we get to know each other and discuss the most important thing: your personal wishes and concerns. What exactly is your treatment goal, your need, your problem? 

The right treatment method

Next, we work out which treatment method is ideal for you. As one of the largest orthodontic centres in Europe, we naturally offer all forms of orthodontic treatment. Let us take a closer look at the three most common.

1. Invisible aligner treatment

Most adults choose aligner therapy – for example with Invisalign© or AngelSmile© – to get the smile they have always dreamed of. Aligners are almost invisible, removable trays that you wear day and night. You only take the aligners out to eat and to brush your teeth. It is good to know that the Eltz Institut is the largest and therefore most experienced Invisalign© provider in the entire German-speaking region – Austria, Germany and Switzerland. 2. Lingual braces bonded behind the teeth

Here, brackets are bonded to the inside of the teeth – invisible to everyone. Here too, nobody can see that you are wearing braces. And thanks to high-precision, robot-bent wires, your dream smile is also achieved extremely precisely and predictably.

3. Fixed braces with tooth-coloured brackets

In addition to the completely invisible methods described above, there is another option: tooth-coloured brackets that are attached to the outside of the teeth. Fixed braces are essential for a Hollywood smile. They allow your teeth to be moved precisely into the right position. Today, fixed braces are completely normal. Many people also have their teeth corrected in exactly this way as adults and often choose tooth-coloured ceramic brackets, as these make the brace less visible. Read more 

Before and after photos

Next, we show you photos of patients in a similar situation. There are two reasons for this: firstly, you get an impression of the quality of our results. Secondly, you will recognise features of your own teeth in patients who have already been treated. This shows you how impressively misaligned teeth and jaws can be treated.
