You will meet our specialists and practice assistants and receive all the important information about the braces and treatment options available to you. The appointment takes around 40 minutes in total and, if you wish, you can start treatment straight away.

We examine the misalignment of your teeth and jaw in detail using state-of-the-art diagnostic methods such as a digital scan, photos, cephalometric and panoramic X-rays and cone beam CT. Orthodontic treatment with your perfect braces

We arrange an appointment at which your orthodontic treatment begins. We use the best possible method for you from the repertoire of modern orthodontics. We see each other roughly every 6-8 weeks for an average of 14 treatment appointments. Depending on the treatment, we bond attachments, use elastics, make fine adjustments, change archwires or place pins, for example. We simply use the whole orthodontic box of tricks to help you reach your dream smile safely – step by step. Depending on your misalignment, you will be finished after just a few months or, in very complex cases, after 1-2 years.

The end of braces is only the beginning:

Retention matters

Once the treatment is complete, we at the Eltz Institut begin what is known as the aftercare or retention phase. This means that, for almost a year, we use special technologies to make sure your teeth stay in their new position. After all, you want to keep your new smile for life! Another Eltz advantage: should your teeth shift in the 1st year after the braces come off, we correct the misalignment free of charge.
