Dr. Kathrin Neugschwandtner

Dr. Kathrin Neugschwandtner joined the medical team at the Dr. Maija Eltz Institute for Orthodontics in 2022. She completed her dental studies at the Medical University of Vienna. Dr. Neugschwandtner specializes not only in conventional, fixed, and removable orthodontics, but also in invisible braces (aligner technology). In 2012, she won the "Young Scientist Award" at the Congress of the Austrian Society for Endodontics. Her extensive knowledge was complemented by training and certifications. Dr. Kathrin Neugschwandtner has participated in numerous continuing education courses both in Austria and abroad. These courses have enabled her to master the entire range of orthodontic treatment methods. In 2020, Dr. Neugschwandtner was awarded the highest Austrian qualification in the field of orthodontics - the Austrian Board of Orthodontists. She is also vice president of the Dental Association (Zahnärztlicher Interessenverband).

Before studying dentistry, Jana Göhring worked as a dental assistant in Jena (Germany). She completed her dental studies at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald (Germany) in 2014. After her employment as an assistant dentist in Berlin, she continued her training as a specialist in orthodontics in Bremen (Germany) and at the University Dental Clinic of the Medical University of Vienna. In these well-known institutes she learned a lot about the most modern treatment techniques, complex dental case planning and quality patient care and was appointed as a specialist in orthodontics in spring 2020. Her knowledge covers the entire range of orthodontic treatment methods and has been completed by numerous training courses and certifications (including Invisalign and WIN).
